PRE-LAUNCH TECHNICAL DISCLOSURE

Your data, mapped and controllable

Information about device-local preferences, pseudonymous ballots, private submissions and public-source monitoring. This policy is still being prepared for public launch.

Current feature availability

Talent planning and reading are available. Public voting and submissions remain unavailable until their protection is configured and reviewed. Real purchases, newsletters and advertising trackers are not enabled.

OpenAI Sites · Data Processing Addendum

Twitch

The homepage links to Marco’s Twitch channel Klatschekopf. No Twitch player, image or script loads automatically in your browser. When live detection is configured, our server requests public stream status from Twitch without forwarding visitor IP addresses or cookies. Your browser only queries our own status endpoint. Opening the external link is subject to Twitch’s privacy terms. Dismissing a live notice applies to the current page visit and is not stored persistently.

Controller and contact

The controller is the operator identified in the legal notice, which includes confirmed details and the public contact address. These notices describe the current beta service; the provider-specific retention review remains open.

Delivery and hosting

Requests involve processing connection data, including IP address, time, requested address and browser information. The current preview uses OpenAI Sites on Cloudflare infrastructure. Buying a domain from Cloudflare does not automatically change the hosting provider. Contracting entities, roles, processing agreements, possible international transfers and specific log-retention periods still need to be documented for public operation.

Purposes and legal bases — pre-launch review

Article 6(1)(f) GDPR may support necessary delivery and security, based on the interest in a functioning service protected against abuse. Contract-related enquiries may fall under Article 6(1)(b), and general enquiries under Article 6(1)(f). External media requiring consent need voluntary consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where applicable, section 25(1) TDDDG. The specific assessment for ballots, submissions, bot protection and source monitoring is not yet approved.

Cookies, local storage and external media

Device-access rules also cover localStorage. An exemption from consent is limited to transmission or a strictly necessary service explicitly requested by the user (section 25(2) TDDDG). Saved preferences and voting features must therefore be assessed separately from advertising or audience measurement. YouTube loads only after activation of the individual player and can then be disabled. Disabling does not erase data already received by the provider.

Retention

Local records remain until deleted in the browser; the controls below offer export and removal. A deletion button does not replace a server retention schedule. Binding retention periods and tested deletion procedures for ballots, editorial submissions, logs and backups must be established before launch. No unverified periods are claimed here.

Your rights

Subject to statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. Consent may be withdrawn at any time for future processing. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation, and to direct marketing at any time. You may also complain to a data protection authority, particularly in your place of habitual residence, work or the alleged infringement. Browser deletion controls do not limit these rights.

Voluntary information and automated decisions

Reading does not require participation in ballots or voluntary submissions. Some connection data is unavoidable for delivery. No solely automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects on visitors is intended. Automated analysis of public comments requires a separate assessment of legal basis, information obligations and platform terms before activation.

Technical transparency page—not the final legal notice

Operator and contact details are available in the legal notice. This page describes local storage and prepared community features. Voting and submissions are not yet enabled publicly; the provider-specific privacy review is still being completed.

DATA MAP

Where information lives

The system separates device preferences, pseudonymous ballot records, private submissions and public-source research. A hashed device key is not proof of anonymity.

DEVICE-LOCAL

Only in your browser

Saved reading, briefing checkpoints, return plans, watchlists, your visible ballot choices, and random device keys use localStorage. They stay on this browser until you clear them.

D1 · HASHED KEY

Pseudonymous ballot records

Council, survey, language, prediction, and theory ballots store selected IDs or answers, timestamps, and a purpose-separated SHA-256 hash. The raw random key is not written to the ballot database. Records remain linkable within their purpose and must not be described as necessarily anonymous.

PRIVATE REVIEW

Private editorial intake

Scout reports and creator applications contain only the information a sender chooses to provide. They remain in a private review workflow. Creator permissions are scoped and revocable with the local management token.

AGGREGATES ONLY

Public-source monitoring

The radar stores source metadata and review drafts. Community Pulse classifies a bounded set of public YouTube comments transiently and stores aggregates—not raw comment text, commenter names, quotes, or channel IDs.

Local records detected

0 records in this browser

This browser currently holds no Classic Forever records.

Withdraw my ballots

Removes this device’s Council, survey, language, prediction, and theory votes from the database, then clears their local keys.

Clear all local data

Deletes only this site’s browser records. This also removes any locally stored creator management token but does not revoke the creator application.

Creates a JSON file on this device. It may contain a creator management token; keep it private.

External services and current boundaries

  • YouTube discovery and comment sampling use the official YouTube Data API. API-derived metadata is refreshed or removed within the documented 30-day boundary.
  • Third-party captions are not bulk-downloaded. Caption use requires authorization or a creator-supplied transcript.
  • Council, survey, language, prediction, and theory ballots—as well as new scout reports and creator applications—use Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated abuse. The server verifies a short-lived, single-use token bound to this site and the exact action; our verification request does not add the optional IP-address field. Cloudflare still processes connection data under its own privacy policy.
  • No advertising profile, cross-site tracking profile, or public user account is part of the current product.
  • Analytics and newsletter providers remain disabled or undeclared until they are explicitly selected and added to the final reviewed notice.

What this control center cannot erase

It can withdraw ballots that this browser can still prove control over and remove local browser data. The automatic controls cannot identify a private submission from a random device key alone or revoke a creator application after its management token was deleted. Contact-based data rights remain available; the technical controls do not replace or restrict them.
