“WoW Classic” is no longer one destination. Era preserves the original end state, Anniversary has moved into Burning Crusade, Mists is the later progression branch, and Discovery is a seasonal experiment. Your first decision is the branch—not the class tier list.
No Blizzard source reviewed for this guide announces a product named WoW Classic Plus, its client, realms, date, transfers or price. This guide prepares your real account for real branches; it does not pretend an unannounced launch exists.

Blizzard moved the Anniversary realms into Burning Crusade in 2026. The limited transfer choice to Era has expired.

Mists of Pandaria Classic continued with official 2026 content; it is not a Vanilla-like branch.

Runes, altered roles, level bands and new original-world content are real Discovery precedents—not a promise that they return elsewhere.
